Developing buildings that meet the most stringent LEED criteria and beyond.
Our team comprises experts in green building materials and design, as well as LEED qualified professionals, including one of the original authors of LEED. Previous work by our team includes both Gold and Platinum LEED buildings, the highest LEED ratings one can achieve.
- Resource Reuse & Recycling: Useable on site materials will be salvaged, refurbished, and reused, including stone, gravel, asphalt, lumber, and other building demolition materials.
- Regional & Renewable Materials: Building materials and products will be used that are manufactured or extracted regionally within a radius of 500 miles, including locally quarried stone, gravel, and concrete, locally made cabinetry, etc.
- Certified Wood: Wood-based materials and products that have been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council will be used if recycled wood is not available.
- Better Air Quality Materials: No VOC paints, woods, laminates, and carpets. For example, recycled cotton (blue jeans) is a more efficient and sustainable material for insulation.
- CO2 Monitoring Systems
- Superior Design: Create an overall environment of comfort in all seasons and one that encourages positive interaction as well as efficient use of the space.
