Putting cleaner water back into the ground and reusing it by mimicking natural systems.
From collecting rainwater, to dealing with storm-water, to treating wastewater, it is important to consider water’s impact on an entire system. In order to return clean water back to the ground, we employ constructed wetlands septic systems.
- These systems work in much the same way as a conventional septic system except that they use plants in self-contained wetlands to remove impurities and pathogens instead of using chemicals to “neutralize” them.
- The wetlands’ plants and microbes scrub the wastewater and transform it into recreational quality water before returning it to the ground through a conventional leech field.
- The water leaving the system is actually cleaner than it would be with a conventional septic system, and because the solution mimics a natural process, it requires little maintenance.
