Portfolio Sustainability Management

Ecological works with large holders of real estate to provide customized platforms of Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Services across entire real estate portfolios.

Ecological works closely with REITs, Real Estate Funds, and Portfolio Owners to identify their sustainability goals and objectives, and then creates a tailored Sustainability Program, Implementation Strategy, and Monitoring and Measuring Methodology to achieve those goals and objectives.

Ecological will collaborate with the designated Client Team to benchmark energy usage across a portfolio or designated group of buildings, create sustainability goals portfolio-wide, analyze compliance with legislative requirements, and implement monitoring and planning tools. Ecological will then identify those buildings most suited for targeted analysis and improvements, taking into account existing capital upgrade plans, ROI objective, and financing and incentive availability. Ecological’s platform for strategic sustainability planning includes the option to add additional analytical and project-based services on an as-needed or per building basis, such as retrofit planning and project management.

Ecological can also act as a portfolio’s Outsourced Sustainability Department, which provides access to Ecological’s broad sustainability expertise as an internal resource at significant cost savings.
